Campus Interns

Aside from the campus minster and student leaders, there are many invaluable people helping out with College Central in a part-time capacity. Below is a list of seminary students helping out with College Central at various campuses.

Emily Christensen

Emily is a creative, fun-loving, Iowa farm-girl gone city-girl. She has a heart to see women grow in their identity and freedom in Christ. She earned a BA in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing from the University of Northern Iowa where she met The Navigators. Upon graduating in 2004, she joined Navigator staff. After serving with The Navigators for four years at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ, God led her to pursue a Masters in Counseling. So she moved to St Louis in the summer of 2008 to attend Covenant Seminary. As an aspiring counselor, and someone who loves ministering to college students, she loves Mark 6:34 which says, "When He went ashore He saw a great crowd, and He had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. And He began to teach them many things."

Lucas Dourado

Lucas was born in Brazil, grew up in New Jersey, and attended Wake Forest University in North Carolina where he got involved with Reformed University Fellowship.  After college, he interned with RUF at the University of Tennessee for two years before moving up to St. Louis to attend Covenant Seminary as a Masters of Divinity student.  When he's not engaged in scholarly pursuits, he can be found playing guitar, listening to music, watching college basketball/football, riding his bike around town, playing pick-up basketball, playing darts, playing with his macbook/iphone, or tending to his small collection of succulent plants.  Lucas loves college life and loves being on campus tossing the disc, sharing a meal, or shooting the breeze.
